With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Kent brings a depth of knowledge and professionalism that only comes from decades of serving others. Before entering the insurance field, he spent 15 years on active duty in the U.S. Army. His background in leadership, duty, and responsibility has shaped the way he approaches his work today — steady, thoughtful, and always focused on doing what is right for the client.

Kent enjoys getting to know the people he serves, learning about their lives, businesses, and goals. Insurance, for him, is personal. He loves solving problems and helping others protect the things that matter most. Known for his sense of urgency, reliability, and team-focused mindset, Kent works with a clear mission: serve well, treat people with respect, and build lasting relationships rooted in trust.

A lifelong Brownsville native, Kent is deeply involved in his community and his church. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with friends, giving back locally, and being active in the areas that strengthen his hometown.

 

He has been married for almost 60 years and is the proud father of five children and grandfather to seven grandchildren — family remains at the center of everything he does. Kent is grateful for the freedoms and blessings of living in this country and loves meeting new people, saying he enjoys “99% of the folks I get to know.”
